About the Drupal CMS

The Drupal CMS was released in 2001 as a simple content management platform.  At first it was used as a message board platform, but the included methods for editing text and availability to add function via modules grew the platform’s popularity very quickly.  Drupal is now used by many types of businesses, ranging from small business to very large enterprise.  Even schools and government institutions use the platform; at one point, the White House used it as a foundation for its website!  Sandia Digital is capable of designing a website around the platform for you and your business, as well as maintain it over time with platform and module updates.

Sandia Digital first started designing websites around the Drupal platform over a decade ago, when version 4 was released.  We are able to write and install plugins for you, customize a theme, and even remove malicious code or database entries.  We can also develop around existing installations where additional functionality is needed or a theme needs to have mobile compatibility.  We can also migrate your older installation to a newer, current installation (Drupal 8 & 7).  We are very experienced with this platform, and are happy to share that experience with you.
